PB Online aims to keep cancellation straightforward.
Monthly subscriptions
A customer may cancel a monthly subscription at any time.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the customer's current paid billing period. No further monthly subscription payment will then be collected.
The customer will normally continue to receive their paid service until the end of that billing period.
We do not normally provide partial refunds for an unused portion of a monthly billing period.
Website setup fees
If a customer cancels before PB Online has begun substantive work on the website, the setup fee may be refunded, less any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred.
Once substantive website work has begun, the setup fee is normally non-refundable because it covers design, configuration, administration and time allocated to the project.
Cancellation by PB Online
If PB Online ends a service without fault on the customer's part, any prepaid monthly service relating to a period we will not provide will be refunded where appropriate.
Website and data handover
After cancellation, customers should request any required website transfer, files or account information promptly.
Where technically possible, PB Online will provide reasonable assistance with transfer or handover. Significant migration work may be quoted separately.
Hosting and maintenance end when the paid service period ends, so the website may then go offline. Arrange any transfer before that date. Personal data processed on your behalf will be returned or deleted under our Data Processing Addendum. We will communicate the handover timetable and any necessary retention before deletion.
Third-party charges
Payments made to third-party suppliers, domain registrars, software providers or other external services may be non-refundable and remain subject to those providers' own terms.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy removes any cancellation, refund or other right that applies by law.
To cancel, contact hello@pbonline.ie and provide your business name and website/domain.
