Information we may collect
We may collect information including your name, business name, email address, telephone number, billing information, correspondence with us, website requirements and material supplied for the creation or management of your website.
Our website hosting uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser details and security logs to deliver and protect the site. You can contact us by telephone, email or the Free Online Check form. The form collects your name, business name, town or area, email address and any website link or message you choose to provide. We use these details to review your public online presence and respond to your request; submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Payment transactions are processed using Stripe. PB Online does not need to store your complete payment-card number. Stripe may process payment information in accordance with its own privacy terms.
Why we use information
We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide quotations, enter into and perform customer contracts, create and maintain customer websites, provide support, process payments, maintain business and accounting records, protect our systems and services, comply with legal obligations and communicate with existing customers about their service.
Where required, we will obtain consent before using personal information for optional marketing or non-essential tracking technologies.
For enquiries and service delivery, we rely on steps you request before a contract or performance of a contract where you are the contracting individual. For business contact persons, routine correspondence and system security, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business. Legal obligations support accounting and legally required disclosures. Optional marketing or tracking relies on consent where required. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Sharing information
Our online enquiry form uses Formspree, Inc. to receive submissions and deliver them to hello@pbonline.ie. Formspree processes submitted details and technical information for delivery and spam prevention, including using infrastructure in the United States. Formspree states that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a processor for international transfers. See Formspree’s Privacy Policy and security information. No Formspree scripts load when you browse our site; the form contacts Formspree when you submit it.
We may share personal information with service providers where necessary to operate PB Online, including payment processors, website and hosting providers, email and communications services, professional advisers and technical service providers.
We may also disclose information where legally required.
PB Online does not sell personal information.
Where suppliers process information outside the European Economic Area, appropriate data-protection safeguards will be used where required.
How long information is retained
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Customer and financial records may need to be retained following the end of a customer relationship where required for tax, accounting, legal or contractual purposes. We retain records for the applicable statutory period.
Enquiry information that does not result in a customer relationship will normally be deleted when it is no longer reasonably required. Our current Formspree free plan provides 30 days of submission history. Copies delivered to our email inbox are retained only as needed to respond, follow up and keep relevant business records.
Marketing information will be retained until consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer required.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict processing, object to certain processing and receive certain information in a portable format.
You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Requests can be sent to hello@pbonline.ie.
You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ireland if you believe your personal information has been processed unlawfully.
Cookies
No analytics, advertising or conversion-tracking scripts are installed on pbonline.ie. The site does not load optional trackers when you arrive, reject optional cookies, or accept optional cookies. We do not activate a new provider on the strength of an old consent choice.
The essential browser-storage entry pb-online-consent stores your analytics and marketing choices, policy version and expiry time on your device for up to six months. It is not used to identify you or measure visits. If storage is unavailable, optional tracking remains off and we may ask again on a later visit. Hosting providers may process technical security information needed to deliver the site.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to choose categories, reject optional tracking or withdraw consent. Withdrawal applies to future consent-based processing and does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. We will update this notice and request fresh consent before introducing optional tracking.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated when our services, suppliers or processing activities change.
The latest version will always be available on pbonline.ie.
